In an effort to reduce intake at Dallas Animal Services and preserve the human/animal bond, Dallas Companion Animal Project is providing the following resources for Dallas pet owners:
Vaccination Clinics – Dallas Animal Services offers low-cost vaccinations and microchipping on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Check the website [dallasanimalservices.org] or the DAS Facebook page for more information.
Microchipping – Dallas Animal Services offers $15 microchips, no appointment necessary. Stop by Dallas Animal Services, 1818 N. Westmoreland, Dallas, 75212, Monday – Saturday 11 am to 6:30 pm and Sunday 12 noon until 5 pm.

Part of being a responsible pet owner is understanding and complying with City of Dallas ordinances regarding pets. Dallas currently has ordinances regulating the number of pets in a home, the sale of pets, unaltered pets, tethered pets, dangerous dogs, and more. For information on pet related ordinances, as well as online licensing and registration, please visit the Dallas Animal Services website – www.dallasanimalservices.org.
